  1. First of all, thanks for all your hard work. The content here is great. I am by no means an AR expert and its entirely possible that my memory is just off. I was taught that the forward assist is used to send the bolt into battery if it was, for instance, let forward slowly instead of letting the spring send it into battery. Possibly in an attempt to maintain silence.

  2. Congratulations to all the new AR-15 owners out there! Welcome to the club!

Remember, get training and shoot a lot!
P.S. don't feel back for larping(safely!) Alittle here and there 😉

  3. Just put a down payment on the new Sig Switchblade. I’d marry that rifle if it had a set of… well you get it.

Side note; very first was the budget friendly S&W M&P 15 Sport 2, graduated to the Daniel Defense and hit the mother load when the switchblade hit the market. The only thing wrong with the Sig is that if I miss, I can’t blame the gun! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 platinum member of the USCCA for years now along with the wife!!

  4. Great video! Thanks for putting it together. Sometimes it feels like we emphasize self defense more than we need to in order to appease the gun control advocates. Self defense is hugely important, but the hobby aspect of gun ownership is one that most people should be able to understand even if they don't think self defense matters. Driving a motorcycle is incredibly dangerous if you're not careful and trained, but nobody would every think about limiting that as a hobby. Same should be true for shooting. It's incredibly dangerous if you're not careful and trained, but shooting firearms on a range is a (literal and figurative) blast!! Why do I need an AR-15? Because they're fun!! Why do they need their hobbies? Thanks again!

  5. Great content! Left hand shooter here. Does anyone know of manufacturer that makes a left ejection port upper other than Stagg Arms? Just a thought since I've had brass flying across my face for years.

  6. I also bought a 22lr conversion kit for my AR-15!!! It shoots just like a regular 5.56×45 ammunition!!! But, it saves time and, money on ammunition!!! Well it's an idea!!! Take Care, and, Stay Safe. Your Crazy Cajun Friend.
