don't forget the flash P 900 has NO flash. The new p1000 has BOTH integral flash and accessory hot shoe for mounting external ones.

Heya SuperZ! I'm anxiously awaiting the release also. In addition to your Pros, one of the most important features for me with these aging eyes is there will be clean hdmi out, so we can hook up a large external monitor for live view filming. Oh, and the hotshoe will be a nice addition also. Take care now – only about 5 weeks to go. 🙂
