  1. if your running any carbine length gas system or pistol AR spend the money…get a heavy duty bcg…if you cheap out it will break…no light weight…wont last 10,000 rounds…spend more on parts like this

  2. I originally wanted a BCM, yet they stayed sold out. I looked at others, but after researching Aero I couldn't see the purpose in spending the extra money on DD. Went with Aero, so far been happy with my purchase and my savings.

  3. I think you're just being a Daniel Fan Boy! It's covered in an inferior coating(that phosphate will rust before anything else) and the staking is "good" but not amazing, I've seen better. Also as an old infantry grunt I died a little bit when u punched out your ejector with your firing pin.

  4. Please don’t slam the staking with a screwdriver. Thats not a good idea. If you’re absolutely disappointed with the staking, send it back, or buy a staking tool and restake it.

  5. I just received a black nitride BCG from Aero and was looking for the items you mentioned in this video. Seems like they saw this and corrected their mistakes or lack of QC, because the one I just got has a similar looking stake job as the Daniel Defense BCG you reviewed here. I was pleasantly surprised for under $150…. Aero makes great products

  6. I have a Daniel Defense forward quad rail on one of my AR-10 rifles. The rail bends very easily when bumped from side to side and the front sight will not hold zero. The rail is an older model they no longer make and are not willing to help me at all. Their customer service and quality as far as I am concerned is GARBAGE compared to Aero Precision. I would buy Areo ANY DAY over DD as a matter of fact I will NEVER buy anything daniel defense ever again.

  7. I will always say this when it comes to BCG's. The BGC is a consumable. You don't have to pay top dollar to get a good one. Paying top dollar for one is like paying top dollar for a sheet of sandpaper. Sure it might hold up a bit longer but it was never meant to be forever, it was always a throwaway part.

  8. I think you need to check out school of the american rifle youtube channel for a more in depth review on bolt carrier group autopsies and you'll see why you wanna spend once, cry once.

  9. Most of my bcgs are Colt 2012 vintage when Colt was still Colt.Theyre 100% and I've never had a failure with any of the five.I also have one PSA premium hpt mpi 158bolt bcg and it hasn't failed and it is used for steel cased ammo.I did put a Colt gold ext spring in the PSA.

  10. I've always picked quality over quantity. With that being said, BCG and BARREL HEART (s) OF THE AR-15. Then it comes down to the purpose you built your AR-15. If you are the type of shooter to drop a thousand rounds like you turn on the water, then you know which one you would pick.
If you're a weekend warrior and you won't see a thousand rounds in a couple of months arrow precision is perfect choice.

They're both well made, just have to pick the components for your purpose.
