I just picked one up today for $871 shipped on gunbroker. I figured that was a good value for a backup rifle. Can’t wait to get it.
That’s not a drilled out receiver, the full auto sear will not fit
6061 aluminum is a very poor choice for receiver extension. Sorry but I'd rather spend my money on USA made rifles.

Thank You for this video. One of the major deciding factors to get my own Zion15. It arrives this Saturday, two days before my birthday. Plan to upgrade the trigger, charging handle, Bolt release, hand stop and put on a muzzle brake. Then I'll spray paint the receiver and handguard green. Want to have that nice green and black contrast.
The way prices are nowadays, this is the best AR on the market. I just picked one up and it’s great.
What scope and mount is he running during the review? Not when he’s shooting, the one on the rifle while he talks about it

I'm stuck between this, the Ruger MPR, Sig M400 Tread, and Saint Victor. All currently in the $850-$1200 range. I've heard the Ruger MPR and Saint Victor have had some QC issues since covid hit.

I bought this for 899.my cousin got a FN15 Tac II for 1600. Neither of us could really tell a difference in quality. A few upgrades and I love it.
I’m on the marked for my first AR, would you recommend to get this, or the Radical Firearms MIL/LE with the pinned gas block? Thanks!
If you're looking for a really high quality AR yall, this is it. We have a M&P15 Sport II and Rugar AR-5.56 but the Z-15 is amazing, get em before they take your right to buy one
