I'll stick to my 300 win mag
I am a huge FN fanboy, so I'll go with the SCAR 17S if given the chance… along with the 16S… ALSO if given the chance… but since FN is being such a 𝒷𝒾𝓉𝒸𝒽, I decided to turn into a caveman and go oingo boingo with a darn bolt action Mauser M18, that probably would a more realistic approach considering my new post quarantine budget.

I'm so glad that I started reloading several years ago. I have purchased 1000's of 223, 5.56, 308, 30 06, 30 carbine, 9mm, 45ACP, 38, 357. brass and bullets, along with several different powers in 5lb containers. I also have blast containers that are moisture free. I'm not retch in fact I'm a disabled veteran so it has taken me many years to acquire what I have. As I shoot up some stock and a sale appears I replace my inventory. If it is a good enough sale I'll by extra. I still see where a person can do this. But it is so much harder because the Dip shit Democrats and the Government are buying up all the most common stock. This is why I've started finding good replacement powders and primers from overseas. What I'm saying is IF YOU WANT TO BE PREPAIRED YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT LEARNING HOW TO RELOAD YOUR OWN. AND GETTING ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL MEEDED. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL OUR GOOD CHRISTIANS. I PRAY THAT WE GET Berry aka obama, Biden, Harris, Pelosi & all the Democrats & RINO's out of office and in prison. In my opinion, all that is needed to make the 5.56 more effective is to change the projectile used. Switch to the TMJ Underwood 65gr Xtreme penetrator

How do you find a "flat" shooting rifle? Do they defy gravity? Do they have a special anti-gravity option? Does the bullet go all the way around the world and back into your pouch? If you shoot it tangentially to the Earth does it end up in space? Should the Martians be ducking?

As for the .308 rifles, I have the Ruger SR-762, CMMG Mk3, LMT L129A1, M1A Scout Squad
and the M1A SOCOM 16 rifles. I love them all. 👍
I was in the chair force. I mean my typing is a killer.. jokes aside a rifle that runs on a platform im familiar with, is reliable and is multi-purpose is ideal. If I can load a 30 round mag and fight the enemy or shoot 1 round and eat. Then great.. I mean one round is optimistic I was in AF.. might take me a a full mag for a deer 😉 but the point is valid .. an all around rifle with easy to obtain ammo seems ideal.

Just found this channel…great channel….tend to disagree about Bull Pups but that could be because Im a old retired Marine and like the things Im use to..If I were going to have to have a battle rifle, I would want a mag fed 30.06 in semi-auto styled on the M4 but alas I do not think there is such a thing….for a sniper rifle…I would probably go to a 6.5 PRC. I doubt many today would agree but hey thats just me.
People try to ding the scar for having a reciprocating bolt, but so does an AK and Garand… plz. People worship those antiques.

Personally, I dont like the AR platform. I go with G3 pattern rifles. I'm more used to them.
FN FAL 7.62mm NATO. EX Rhodesia. Semi Automatic only to be effective.
I'll keep my FN/FAL and G3.
