Which do you prefer for an offset red dot with an LPVO, a smaller red dot like that or a micro dot like a RMR? I've seen you use that offset a couple times but the micro dot seems to be the industry standard, asking to flex on insta with my poor boi ar pistol build (12.3" gang)

Any opinions on Warne mounts? What about Eratac mounts?

I’ve moved the Nikon turrets a few times even though they are crisp . It’s happened a few times over the years and I would prefer covered turrets as well . Nikon s been an impressive scope for the money . I just don’t see the need to spend thousands on a scope unless for actual combat . $500 should be more than sufficient for a decent scope

Thinking you shouldn't have put the Vortex and the Night farce side by side. Vortex clearly had more detail, better contrast at every distance. The grass by the pond, the trees, reflection on the water all go to Vortex. Higher magnification and costs less. Seems to be a better optic, tip to butt.

The 1-6 is better for 556 it’s faster close up with its 2nd focal plane you got a Scar 17 sure get the 1-10 but I fucked up got the Razor 1-10 for my 223 don’t make my mistake 2nd focal is better for 556!🤯🔫✊🏿

Maybe I'm just a bigger guy but I swear GT makes ARs looked like ar10's with an 18" barrel. When I got my first AR I was like, why the hell does he make the gun look so huge lol

Looking at the still you posted looking through both scopes the Vortex actually looks like it has significantly better color representation along with more detailed shadows and better contrast. The Vortex is also significantly sharper throughout and the difference is very noticeable along the edges. The nightForce looks very washed out color wise and not that sharp throughout. You might want to look at those images again.

Was it just me or did the Vortex look WAY more clear and detailed than the NF? Can't tell if he just used a blurry picture for the NF or he's just got dog shit vision b/c his two example photos clearly show the Vortex having better clarity.

Still like the 2nd focal plane for the m4 type weapon system I like that reticle to be the same every time I pick my weapon up so for my money the Trijicon AccuPoint 1-6 is the best optic for the m4! 🤯🔫✊🏿
