Video was just fine my friend. Helped a ton. Thank you. Since I already bought the Magpul ASAP-QD I’m gonna install. Gonna look into the option you have. not having to break anything down is a much better option. Cheers from the PNW!!!
Thanks so much for the video! I didn't get the Magpul ASAP, but instead got the standard dual-loop sling attachment plate, and this video helped me get it on perfectly! That's not to say it was without issue, that damn buffer-tube pin/spring combo as well as the smaller spring/pin that came out that small hole in the back (which I found out is what keeps the rear takedown pin from falling out when you push it out to detach the upper) were a couple of pains in my ass, but once I figured out the correct order to put everything back together, it all went into place smooth as butter. I didn't even need a vice or anything, just did it all free handed. The only tool I used was the castle-nut wrench and the pummel of an old screwdriver to initially work the main 2 takedown & pivot pins loose.
Thanks again for the video and helping this dummy successfully get his dual-loop sling attachment plate on his ar-15 with no great issues!
Love that Tango Down mount. I watched the video to see the Magpul ASAP mount but that Tango Down Mount looks like the better option for me as I never have my stock fully collapsed as well.
Ya would like to buy a Fucken. Castle nut and tub. And the adapter for a Russian. Saiga 223. For the stock is that possible rather than listen. To. These hicks. That think everybody is. Stupid. Pickel. Smokers
I’ve never seen a crack rock before either 😁 I mangled three of those springs in one Day was just having a bad day and couldn’t pay attention. Had to walk away from it. It was a cerokoted lower….everything was fighting me like Kung fu! Grrrr! Cerokote is very nice but makes for a miserable lower build. Thought I would share that. It’s my new 300 Blk out.

If it lays in there, why did you screw the castle ring that far down?
After 8 years of this video, let me tell you that it helped me a lot.
Thank you. Always good to see different parts for the AR platform.

Excellent Philly accent
All the fuck I wanna know is how to mount a sling
Thank you and Go Flyers!
I think your video was very informative. Good job.
Filming was fine. Why the hell did magpul design the key separate like that? What a PITA.
Good luck finding the Tango Down clamp. Sold out everywhere
