  1. This video was filmed back in late March before the ATF clarified that you can legally shoulder a brace on a AR Pistol again. We are going to try only Lancer L5 Magazines in the future with this .300BLK AR-Pistol. We will keep you guys updated on how its running in the future! 2. Did you find the answer to some of the issues your having? Like short stroking which may be the cause to failure to eject. Or not locking back? Let me know it would definitely help me out with my similar issues with my 300 blackout 10.5" barrel build. Could it be the gas port? Nice build !

  3. I understand this is an older video however, I just a wanted to point out that the pistol is over gassed which would explain the inconsistency with the ejected brass and the FTF. A H2 or possibly a H3 buffer would help the dwell time and lower the recoil a bit. All in all, nice vid.

  4. My .300 is also finicky with mags. MAGPUL Gen 2 & Lancer smoke = yes. But ETS clear = no. Didn't try a GI mag. Both of my 5.56 AR's love all mags. Any brass case, copper jacket ammo is devoured. Both very consistent and reliable. Next build is a .300 pistol. Just hope the ammo gets more popular and cheaper.

  5. Might be under grassed. A lot of those pistol configs suffer from that problem kinda. Have you tried lighter .300blk? I know AAC recommends and H2 buffer as well. An AR15 bolt or a lightweight bolt may help as well.

  6. Nice vids. I think part of the issue for you is that you don't give your magazines that slap upward at the bottom. I notice when you put your mags in (every single mag) you insert it and then you just nudge it upwards. Thats fine but you have to smack upwards to really positively seat the mag into the well. Give it one good slap or love tap upwards up into the well.

Regardless, fantastic vids and you have a new subscriber. Remember rifles are tools and it's ok if you beat them up a little. They like it. Haha.

  7. H3 buffer may be too heavy, try a lighter carbine buffer or H buffer. Also stick with Lancer, Pmags and standard USGI mags. Otherwise that's a sick .300 bo build might have to do one someday.

  8. People complaining in the comments to shoulder it obviously didn't read the update letter or see the vid from the military arms channel. You still can not legally under the ATF shoulder the shockwave arm brace because its rigid and has no straps and has detents for fixed attachment of the brace. You can however shoulder the sig arm brace because it is not rigid. All these people complaining and talking are the reason the whole problem started if people just kept their mouths shut and stopped asking/bugging the ATF there would be no issue at all.

  9. yes the atf clarified the brace shouldering rules but it states as long as the brace is non ridgid, has a strap or is not permanently attached can it be shouldered and ur not changing it into an sbr. but many of the blades can be permanently attached and do not have straps. watch the military arms chanel and it clarifies the blade portion

  10. H3 buffer or adjustable gas block is why ur having problems.. because it is cycling way to fast due to over gassing from pistol length gas system and the Sharp's bcg is not heavy enough to slow down the action. Sweet looking gun tho for sure just needs some tuning!
