Review: Bushmaster (Huntsville, AL) AR-15 A2 Lower Receiver

This is a quick tabletop product review for a Bushmaster AR-15 A2 lower receiver. I purchased this to mate with my FN M16A4 military surplus upper receiver I had laying around. While this does not perfectly clone a M16A4 it sure comes close and looks the part.

  1. Man I got one of those M16A4 surplus uppers a couple years ago for like $450, I've never seen it that cheap since then. I wish I'd bought two, I think that thing is my favorite rifle. I didn't bother to make it clone correct, it's a user for me.

  2. My A2/A4 lower was from Aero and I put the A2 style stock on the bare lower

Coupled with an Aero A4 style upper, it looks every bit as it should. I don't care to get exact markings as it will never be a true A2/A4 (no auto settings) so I am totally fine with the receiver markings

Still, feels and shoots miles better than my issue A2 rifle, then again it is brand new and doesn't have decades of service

I'm quite happy with it and it always remains my go to rifle

  3. Jason. all I can do is drool, our fun police don't allow us that much fun, maybe I will buy a gel blaster before they ban them here in the next couple of weeks, I have to go and have a little cry now, love your videos, cheers
