As the young survivors of the Florida school shooting keep up their marches and walkouts for gun control, the NRA is pushing back with its own go-to narrative: “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
In the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, lots of schools seemed to agree with that approach and moved to put more “good guys” in the classroom. This week, Gianna Toboni sees firsthand how some teachers are taking up arms and explores the deep divisions in America that make stopping these mass shootings seem nearly impossible.

The gun has nothing to do with the injury, the gun just shoots the bullet which will do different amounts of damage depending on how it’s made. Ex: Hollow point, full metal jackets, etc. Any gun, if loaded with blanks is not going to do much damage.

In fact I don't think I've seen a war footage where someone is shot with an AR-15 and they didn't instantly explode into giblets.
I’ve actually been shot by an AR15. Vice really is on some fake news shit cause the entrance wound was literally the diameter of the 5.56 bullet which is pretty small. The exit wound was much bigger maybe the size of a silver dollar. That was in the fatty area of my thigh luckily but it went thru my first leg and hit my ankle in the Achilles’ tendon. 5 people were trying to rob me at my place 2 had ARs and 2 had pistols 1 was look out. I’m glad I could have a gun for defense my only regret was not having more training to use it and more guns to arm the people around me. Regardless of legality the 5 guys trying to rob me would’ve found a way to get guns like they do in Cali New York or Chicago.
