  1. I got one and it feels like the the spring doesn't work well with it, like it just falls in place instead of spring assisted? I wonder what the problem with mine is , do I need a different spring?

  2. Thanks for the video. Looks like I’ll be buying this bolt catch. I’m not sure though why you can’t show how to install it. There are videos from Midway USA and Cheaper than Dirt and others that show the complete install.

  3. Please be aware though, that if you have an ambidextrous magazine release you may have to modify the bolt catch to fit, the bottom paddle can interfere with some ambi magazine releases. No big deal, just a matter of a steady hand and a grinder and prepping before applying a bake on ceramic finish.

  4. Can anyone help me with an issue I'm having? I recently built my 1st AR. The lower is the old colt mh 6601 with the sear block and clearance cut BCG. (I live in CT and pre band are not easy to come by anymore so changing this is out of the question.) I have a anderson upper, standard aero buffer kit, strike bad lever. 18" 5.56 barrel. My issue is that my bolt does not stay open on final shot. With an empty mag and manual charge it locks back but not when I fire it. Any ideas? All help is very well received!

  5. Great solution for a lefty. I don't think it's necessary for anyone else. There's a reason they made the button to manually hold the bolt back tiny, this completely ignores that. Plus, personally I think it looks hideous.

  6. Perhaps the bolt catch was designed as it was for a reason. Maybe the small notch was there as to not inadvertently lock the bcg if the rifle was pressed upon something.

  7. Umm Geissele themselves offer this product for $29 with free shipping, whereas with you "Discount" and shipping from MSRARMS is around$38 . For shame! Trying to rip your own viewers tisk tisk..

  8. Does that bolt catch work with the Cross Armory Safe Mag? Comparing images it looks very tight, but with your experience with the cross armory components I figured you would know for sure before placing my order

  9. Purchased and installed this on my rifle after seeing this video. Love it. Installation was stupid easy (with the right tools). It clears my KNS anti-rotation pins by a wide margin. BTW I shoot left handed.

  10. Geissele had a great black friday/cyber Monday sale and I picked up a bolt catch along with a super 42 buffer spring and a single stage precision trigger. But I'm having trouble deciding if I want to go featureless or do a fixed mag set up.
