Going over how to install and stake your buffer tube (receiver extension) with a little help from my son. Also, how to install your takedown pin and adjustable stock. All parts are American Made and I have to say I am loving the look and feel of the MFT Battlelink Minimalist Stcok.

  1. I’ve built 8 AR’sI haven’t yet use Loctite on the buffer tube and castle nut, I’m wondering if it’s the better thing to do. Anybody feel free to answer. Thanks

  2. Sure hope you folks who have been stating "inch pounds" have learned that indeed, the castle nut torque is measured in foot pounds. Save your inch pounds for optics mounts and such.

  3. You way over torqued that nut. You should have either held the torque wrench 90 to the tool or used the formula for calculating torque using a crows foot.
