Going over how to install and stake your buffer tube (receiver extension) with a little help from my son. Also, how to install your takedown pin and adjustable stock. All parts are American Made and I have to say I am loving the look and feel of the MFT Battlelink Minimalist Stcok.

New I would get some dork to respond, gullible… HEHEHEHE, Must be a democrat …
I’ve built 8 AR’sI haven’t yet use Loctite on the buffer tube and castle nut, I’m wondering if it’s the better thing to do. Anybody feel free to answer. Thanks
Never use your torque wrench to loosen!
INCH POUNDS YA FOOL!!
That poor poor buffer tube. I facepalmed when he cranked the vice on it around 6 minutes
Sure hope you folks who have been stating "inch pounds" have learned that indeed, the castle nut torque is measured in foot pounds. Save your inch pounds for optics mounts and such.
That should be inch pounds not foot pounds, holy crap…
hey man where did you get that little plate you used to tighten the castle nut and what's it called? This would help me SO Much!! Good Vid thanks man!!
What is the length of the buffer tube.
You way over torqued that nut. You should have either held the torque wrench 90 to the tool or used the formula for calculating torque using a crows foot.
Thanks, for clearing that up
40 +/- 2 . INCH Pounds not Foot pounds
Why are you backing off after each torque? You are the only person i have seen doing it this way. I am genuinly curious. Is this per TM?
