Optica Exotica looks at your grandmother’s favorite binoculars: the Nikon Trailblazer 8×25. The Nikon Trailblazers are good compact lightweight binoculars that serve well as lightweight travel binoculars. Just don’t expect them to blow you away with their ergonomics or image quality.

nikon make great optics, japan and germany make the best.
I have Two pocket binoculas zeiss Terra 8×25 and 10×25 are better tan zeiss Terra 8×42
I have a pair of Swarovski 8×25 CL's that I recommend. Over 10 times the price of these. As "Optica" says, "The best binoculars are the ones with you." It's viable to bring a 8×25 with you on a business trip, where as a x42 seems to be 4 times the size. The Swaro's are good basic binoculars, no huge thrills. Just a good view in a compact set of binos. But perhaps best of all, my wife likes them…
Nice Review! Have you ever looked at the Steiner BluHorizons 10×26 or 8×22 pocket binoculars? Have you compared different pocket binoculars before?
I have the same binocular..i think its favourite in my little collection.always fits in my pocket..so compact it is.very cool to use
Another great review. I would love to see a video comparing an 8×32 vs an 8×42 in low light conditions. I’m curious how much extra viewing time you actually gain at dark with the larger objective lens.
O+O…….great video…….O+O
How do these compare to the Swaro 8×25 ?
I know the price difference but is it worth spending the extra for the Swaro’s ?
Very interesting! I did not expect them to fold up that much! Now I want some for my car door pocket so I don’t have to keep 8x42s so handy haha. I often stop to look at the hawks I drive by so I know I would get some good use out of them. For that cheap I wouldn’t feel as bad leaving them in the car in the summer too
I just bought one from Japan. And it is on the way by ems
This looks better than the crossfires.
Is the celestron trailseeker ed 8×42 coming up
I read the Bushnell Forge, although Made in China (
), but they are quite good for the price.
