  1. Own one and tried running it in both ARs and it does not eject the casing; it almost always ends up getting crushed and in a place where I have to disassemble the gun to get to it. There are times when it does manage to eject the spent shell correctly, but it won't reset the trigger group. I've given up on it

  2. Tell me where to get ammo then we'll talk. Tired of the political assholes that strip our rights away as they bicker at each other like children. Leave us out of it!!

  3. Hey I also have a Sylvan arms GEN three folder on my A.R. pistol is it bad to run this conversion kit without using that extension piece? Will it mess up our guns?? I have been scared to use it Seeing it doesnโ€™t have the hole in the rear like normal bcg does

  4. I keep reading on reddit people are saying to shoot a 5.56 through the rifle after each range trip. Is it better to just take it home and clean the barrel?

also, does this kit damage or wear out the 5.56 barrel?

  5. I bought this kit and put it in my American Tactical AR15 and brought to range. I could not get it to fire at all. Tried multiple clips and then put the conversion kit in my friends AR15 and same thing. Anything I can try?

  6. I built a .22 AR pistol specifically using this conversion. Great fun, have a suppressor and red dot. I also had to get the 50 round drum, to kill zombies ya know…

  7. has much tigher groups with 1/8T than 1/7T barrels @ 50+yds. Brownells has the 3 mag kit in stock AND on sale, use 'TAG' code for an extra 15$ off. Dec-27-20 still works.

  8. Those kits are notorious unstable, the "pig" in this test is actually saving it, as you can see it on the ejection pattern, it is very over gassed. If over gassed the kit works fine, if "normal" except 1-5 FTF and FTE per magazine. Oh and black dog magazines tends to work better than the shit plastic magazine from CMMG. But can vary in quality I suppose.
The CMMG 22lr blowback barrel is more stable, in normal setups. after now 1000nds of 22 rounds through the CMMG kit and blowback, the end conclusion is, polish the steel in the BCG part, all the movable parts, polish the hell out of it, and no oil of any sort in it, run it dry. The lead will lubricate enough. And it will actually sort of work, but it is not a substitute for 223/556 other than trigger and target training of sort.
If adjustable gasblock, open up to full.

However, it is cheap to run it, 5 magazines in 2 min is allot cheaper with 22lr than 223.
And it is dirty…after about 10 25 rounds magazines the lower and upper is so full of crap that you just want to throw in the dishwasher or something, as it fills the lower with crap, espesially in the trigger housing part, where you have to at some point disassemble to clean, only to have it filled with crap again after 5-10 magazines.

However it is fun, mixed blessing with movement, meaning it feels it jams more if you shoot on the move (IPSC and others)

  9. Question: In this video firing the CMMG 22LR conversion kit are you using a premium after-market or a standard mil-spec trigger? I ask because I've experienced failures to fire when using a Geissele trigger with a dedicated ATI 22 LR upper. It sure looks like your trigger firing speed & reset are quite fast. Thanks for the informative & fun videos. Keep up the great work & God bless !!!
