Have fun. I would just buy a new upper receiver and add the new components to that. It would be easier and you would still have the old configuration to fall back on for fun.
It's amazing what you can do with ARs. I took my DPMS Oracle, threw on some Luth-AR, Strike Industries and Tyant Design parts and installed a BCA upper with fluted candy cane design on the barrel and no one would guess in a million years it was an Oracle. I hope you go all out on this Bushmaster. Gr8 vid as usual. 🔫 🇺🇸

Why are we upgrading this classic again? Pimp my rifle? Rifle is already pimped. Buy a new upper don't do all that craziness to this work of art!!! It's probably worth 3x what the original owner paid for it.
