I just used this video to put together my M4E1 Lower, very helpful and thank you very much. My one criticism would be to mention that if you had a drop-in trigger like my Rise Armament, you would want to install that BEFORE the safety selector. Otherwise, you'll have to undo the Grip and reinstall!
excellent video bro! I'l be building my lower this week some time and I'll be watching with you step by step as I get her done… thanks for the video man!
Helpful hint….Assemble inside a large (I use a 2 1/2 Gal) freezer or storage bag or any clear bag, that way if a spring goes flying….it stays in the bag.
Tip for front Take Down Pin Install: Use a 3/16 ball Allen wrench pushed through from the left side and a needle nose pliers to push your detent pin into your receiver. Push your Allen wrench into the left side and the curved part of the ball will hold the pin and spring and “roll” right out when you insert your Take Down pin in! Easy!
Question, sir, do any of the parts on a lower need any greasing or lubrication? How about on an upper besides the barrel nut? Also, I've heard that some parts have a coating from the factory that needs to be removed before assembly. If you could shed some light on these questions, that would be great. Thanks for the video!
Excellent instructions. Thank you fo the walk through. Easy to understand and follow. My only FUBAR was the magazine catch button was not threaded. I had to order another one. I was able to assemble everything else but the magazine release and bolt catch. Now a waiting game.

THANKS!!!! Fuck yeah!! 1st build in <hour. Youre the man. I only had to start over once. Safety upside down can cause problems at end.
Either way, THANKS!
