Eotech EXPS3-2 the best eotech HWS | current US Army officer’s perspective / review

Comprehensive video showing the EOTech EXPS3-2TAN and the EXPS3-2 in general as the best eotech has to offer in my opinion. If can only buy one this eotech is the best all around hws. It can do everything a single dot eotech can , but also excels for medium long range by itself or even more so behind a magnifier. Eotech g33 and g45 are excellent magnifier choices. This video displays many factual perspectives and personal opinion being a combat veteran that has used many different optics for action of combat, close quarter battle CQB , close quarter combat cqc , 360 degree warfare , non uniformed combatants , uniformed combatants , and etc. Special Forces still continue to use the EoTech as one of their most prolific and main cqb optics for that close combat , violence of action , room clearing tactics , quick sight acquisition , and etc. it’s no mystery why SOF / SOCOM continues to use these day in and day out. I use it on my own personal CQB AR … the Colt LE6945CQB 10.3” monolithic Mk18 variant.

Even i seek private training to make myself more proficient in arms and situational awareness as these skills can have fleeting portions. 1. I need one!!! That was an outstanding presentation the way you laid out the images at different yardages. You totally stripped it down and explained really well!! I need some more money, would love to have one

  2. Thanks for the super informative video. I just got the HHSI with the EXPS3-4 and G33 magnifier (Dec 2020 inspection) and hating the 4 dot reticle without magnification for the reasons u mentioned – it looks like one fuzzy line and it's too busy at 1x. I found an EXPS3-0 to get but production date is 9/9/19 – I know you said those are L3 made and probably better, but do u think it sitting around for 3 years in a warehouse with the battery in without use can cause any issues?

  3. Been wanting to get one but their out of stock on website. Would you suggest getting one off Amazon? Idk It just doesn't seem right to order one from them. Any other places I could order from or maybe just find one at a gun shop possibly?

  4. Hmmmm… I have a HOLOSUN 509T fully enclosed circle/dot sight. WHY isn't it as good as the EOTech?? WHY is a highly complex 3 mirror EOTech holographic sight better than the simplicity of my 509T? My 509T red dot? The 509T will work with night vision on the two lowest settings, has a solar panel to take over if the battery dies, a titanium encasement, "Shake-Awake" on-off switch (if desired) and easy change battery tray. Plus I can change from circle to dot to BOTH if I want.

  5. I recently purchased the exps-2 with the g33 magnifier. I have been shooting a t1 for years and do like it but I'm willing to sacrifice battery life for that almost parallax free donut of death. It really does come in handy when shooting in awkward positions. Not to mention the benefits of a holographic sight over a standard red dot when using the magnifier.

  7. A question about the new Eotech. I'm trying to find out if something is wrong with mine. The problem is I can hardly feel we're the clicks are. It's very faint. I haven't owned one in 5 years. I remember the clicks being more robust. Like it was riding on a ball bearing. Did hey change the way it operates? I know a new company owns them. So I'm wondering if this is the way they operate now or if there something wrong with mine.

  8. Hey there, is it possible you can show and detail the unique issue with 694x series in terms of changing out the barrel? I heard you need special armourers tools due to the properitery system. Can you please make a video discussing this type of issue since there is virtually no video on youtube showing how to dissemble this monolithic system. Also i heard you can't take a typical 6920 barrel and put it in this one. I have a 6940 but feel like barrel replacement when the time comes is going to be a nightmare.

  9. Hey Brother nice set up. I have issues with scopes and optics. I'm left eye dominant but shoot right handed. Also I write left handed and throw right handed strange. One of my Drill Sergeants picked up on it and taught me how to shoot. Now I have optics on a few rifles. I will probably sell some stuff and get a AR and ammo when I move. I have too much and can only use one at a time. Sometimes too much duplication is bad. One day night vision in to future but not mounted on a rifle I will get something I can wear . Well done as usual.

  10. Great info brother . I loved the part about judging distance range with the ring . I didnt know any of that , lol so its really helping especially , like you said if I ever have to pick up someone elses firearm in a crazy situation, its nice to know these things. I dont hunt much either lol nice joke lol
