Just shooting my AR-15. Had 150 rounds to get rid of so had the day off to just have fun at the range. Took this short vid just for the hell of it.

Yep, I just follow thru my shot and reset. Even when I practice with my AKM you see the same procedure being done.
Your right about the "clack" you hear. The trigger resets and there is no need to let the trigger get past the reset. The rest is just slack if you let the trigger return all the way which on this rifle is very little. I still have less than 500 rounds thru this rifle. The trigger will be replaced soon since this one has a heavy trigger pull. The Ncstar scope on this one has been replaced with a Burris. Not a fan of any Ncstar scope.
