  2. Springfield Saint 308 (7.6 lbs) and who needs to carry as much ammo when it's "one and done" you don't have to hit your target deer 3 or more times, the deer can even be wearing body armor or a bullet proof vest, a single 308 will laugh as it's heading for it's mark. The only way you're not taking down your game with a single 308 is if you completely miss the target…

  3. This was a thoughtful and informative video. I am fortunate to have a variety. If chaos erupts, I can choose what would be best for the situation. Most likely I will take a 40 caliber carbine and the Glock 23, sharing the same ammo and suppressor. I do love the big rifles, the 6.5 Creedmoor and the 50 BMG, but who knows if they will be practical. It's better to have the option, probably won't be able to get weapons or ammo when you really need them.

  4. As much as I want a .308, even a di pof Revolution being sub 7 lbs with mags snd Ammo even that I’d be sketchy. As Im a large guy but would pick up my 16” bcm bfh elw with aurora Acss & offset rmr, w/BFF sling snd m300c&ds07 set up would be what I’d grab if I ever had to carry a rifle. It’s very light, pointable & give. Once add a 5.11 rush 72 bag & loaded carrier with everything that weight will add up fast.

  5. Not to mention quality .308 ammo is about twice as expensive too. I just found that out. I ordered my PSA 10 and some mags and ammo. 500 rounds of PMC .308 was over $300 plus shipping

  6. First you you said that a .223 is the same as 5.56 it is not the military 5.56 has a significant higher chamber pressure then a . 223. This can be an issue to in weapons chambered in .223 and shoot 5.56 ammo. Mean while in a 7.62×51 the .308 round has a higher chamber. That could damage the weapon if it’s chambered for 7.62×51! And if your weapon is chambered right your ok, but if your shooting an older mini 14 or AR180 chambered in .223 you should pay attention to the ammo. Sure most people know this but it’s not info that newbies know from birth.

  7. … there is no problem with carry a 7,62… you meed fewer Ammo. You dont need to move your enemy with fire, the 7,62 Kills behind the most cover. For Cqb you will use a Pistol, and Put the big gun on your back. If you only can have ONE gun: .223 !

  8. Not sure how anyone can watch this guys videos….he can't speak….its like listening to someone with rocks or mud in their mouth trying to speak…..very very labor intensive for the listener….it wears you the F out

  9. I have a SOCOM M1A chambered in .308. The AR15 May be lighter but I look at it this way. I have a 308. May as well stick with that platform. If I have two different caliber weapons I’ll need to supply both with ammo.

  10. Palmetto State armory has the PX 10 which is the lightweight version of the AR-10 and almost the same footprint as the AR-15 my rifle has a Nikon black scope mount which is pretty heavy and a vortex 30ml diamondback scope which is a pretty good-size scope suppressor and a bipod doesn't bother me at all and I'm only 5'6 at 140 lb and I can carry that gun for miles a good sling is key

  11. I am 42 years old 223 lbs and 6’ even I bicycle 15 to 30 Km (10 to 20 miles) every day. The lightest rifle I normally use is an XCR-L I feel right at home with the AR10 rifles. But yes this is something many people do not consider. I know a guy that has an AR10 never uses it because he is 145 lbs and has a hard time dragging it into his car.
