AR Pistol Brace Comparison

It's way easier in NY. Can't have a pistol where magazine doesn't insert in grip, can't have a SBR, can't have an AR. Think I can buy the brace, though

I really enjoy what you are always doing to make us sharp. But, why as a firearms nut with all kinds of pieces from the 1700s to today….why don't I like this stuff? Am I the only one. Must be my age.

You really should try Gear Head Works Mod 2 brace for what I believe is the best brace in the market.

What's your thoughts on the Tailhooks. I really like my aluminum mod 1…not adjustable tho…at the time I built I thought that was a pistol requirement – non adjustable brace…

Check out the Split Fix by Lunar Concepts. It makes the sba3 far more rigid and completely eliminates the annoying alignment issue of the sba3

🤔 Re: the SBA3 & 4, with regard to the difference in QD attachment position– What I wished you had explained… which I might find in another of your videos, maybe… is why with one QD point at the front of the brace (SBA4), you attached on the left/inside… and why with the QD attachment point towards the rear (SBA3), you attached on the right/outside. It wasn't clear to me why you do that, with regard to how it affects the weapon manipulations you demonstrated. I will try to swap QD positions and see if there is an obvious reason you attach that way depending on eother brace… but, feel free to provide your insight. 😁 Thanks

PS– If someone ever peeks in from the porch and sees me walking around inside, trying (badly) to do weapons manipulations John is showing… man, them Red Flag laws are gonna put me in the cuckoo-house. 😬

John , What is the Linear Compensator that is on the rig with the SB4 ? On a side note I live in CT and we have these hybrids called “Others” which are a great area in our states AW ban . They all have to utilize a brace so this was some great info for Warrior Poets who are stuck behind enemy / communist lines !

John- connect the sling on the other qd in the rear. The outside qd, not inside. That way it will pull the muzzle away from your leg and you can cross shoulder it. It works, i have the sba4.

Nicely done video. Did anyone else see 704 Tactical rock an AR pistol without any brace? I walked away thinking that no brace was needed.

I thought BATFE clarified it saying just shouldering a pistol brace didn't make it a stock, and unlawful. .

NFA items are worth the $200 "membership application", into the club.
The ATF can change their minds, again, on the shouldering of a "brace", and you're back to Felony Town.

John How do I get one of those cool dude anonymous names that some of commentators have? But that's not my comment. I like the fact that you paid homage to us old Corps Marines who had to endure and use passable weapons handling. It was kinda funny and confusing trying to use open ground tactics in jungle and urban environments. Not to mention the two star brilliance that did not consider woodland camies in the desert was not a bright idea. However, whith enough sweat and rolling in the sand it worked out, sorta.

How many non compliant SBR arrest by the ATF have ever done. Perhaps, when they happen to arrest a convicted felon, who happens to posses a SBR. How about this on gun control laws. This type of law is a gun control law and the same for cans, need to be repealed. So, I really enjoy your videos but how about a video on how to reverse these laws, in a lawful manner. I use the Kak blade for my Scorpion but it sucks to a degree. The stock looks really cool but paying 200 dollars for permission is ludicrous. IMO.

What would happen if you mounted your sling on the right side of the SBA4? Would that then put more of the sling going along the top to kick that barrel out?

You left out a couple really good ones (for the m4). Tail hook mod2, strike industries-pdw stabalizer, sbx-k, maxim pdw, sb-sob, and more. Not to mention all weapon specific braces… Oooohhhh soooooo many choices $$$$$$$

I have tried a few and I settled for on the Thordsen buffer tube cover w/the CCA cheek rest. Been running it for at least 5 years.

I think everyone should pay for their tax stamp with a credit card. Then make it a policy that they can’t charge your card until stamp is issued. I bet that would speed things up.

First it took you almost 2 minutes to get to the content mentioned which even for humor out takes is ridiculous, save that stuff for the end. Advertising your products should be done through a video hosted on your independent site which saves you about a minute here. I stopped watching at (2:04) to explain this because it's more important to get your content out there. I'm sorry if this is coming across as nit picking but most people don't make it this far in consideration. Being at just over 500 comments it seems to make sense.

On top of it the UN has been trying to get the US to sign a treaty to take away the second amendment from us in the states and the bill is set for review in the senate, if this bill is signed off any weapon considered small arms will be impossible to get and would make 90% of every gun owner felons over night. It's amazing how many people think it's OK to dance to the tune government restrictions has on a "No Infringement Right that's Law" while government is working so hard on to take our rights away.

Be careful telling people false info. Someone could end up in prison adding a brace to a rifle with a short barrel. BE CAREFUL!!!!
