Favorite optic of all time: Eotech HHS-1, I just ordered a Razor HD gen II-E, I wanted the Leupold Mark 6 or 8 and a Nightforce Atacr, but decided for me and my use that it wasn't worth the extra cash.

Just FYI, this scope is 3 grand on the Leupold website.

My favorite optic is a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x 40mm. It's the only optic I've got! And it's on my Browning. I have only iron sights for my AR.

Holosun HS403C 2MOA. 300 dollars chaeaper than an AimPoint and is absolutely just as accurate and it can take one hell of a beating. 50,000 hour battery life if you dont keep it on solar mode, come on AimPoint, chill the fuck out with your pricing.

Leupold mount is 1.49" height, how well did it work with PEQ15 mounted? It would be great if you could do a 2 min review (height, adjustability, zero retention etc) of the mounts you use with the optics and the view you get with accessories mounted.

For $1800 ish street price, the Leupold MK-6 absolutely should come with the mag adjust lever. Its an insult for a Leupold customer to spend that kind of money and then also pay full retail on an accessory that should come with the scope especially considering the many equivelant competitive products on the market which are much less expensive.

I really like the MK-6 but im keeping both my Primary Arms 1-8x ACSS scopes for now.

At over $2.5k it would be a shame to have that stolen. One of the reason I prefer to budget my defence arsenal as much as I can is because I want it to be easy to repair and easy on the bank in case I need parts or lose it. If its a collectible or for competition It makes sense, but I cant help but laugh at the thought of it being otherwise for self defence. That is just too excessive. The reticle options are magnificent and the variable magnification is great, but I rather be as minimal as possible when I set up gear. Even if im competitive. Its not like Im trying to go pro.

The Leupold MK-6 1-6x CMR , Kahles K6xi, Minox ZP-8 1-8x and both my Primary Arms 1-8x ACSS scopes, the platinum FFP and the standard SFP are my all time favorite LPVOs.

I love both my PA ACSS scopes but id be willing to park them in favor of one of these.
The new NightForce ATAC-R and NX-8 1-8x scopes are very, VERY good as well but although i prefer SFP for LPVOs the NX-8s reticle cant hold a candle to the ACSS and the big ATAC-R also loses points compared to the ACSS but its reticle is quite capable.

Overall id say the Kahles, Leupold and PA scopes are my favorites with the Minox being perhaps my holy grail. Its got side focus/parallax for Christs sake!
It also has superb glass and a pricetag to match.

For now im perfectly content with my PA 1-8x ACSS scopes. Ive got less than $1300 for the two of them and challenge any and all with either one.

If its an optic that ive owned id say my vortex Razor HD LR 3-15
