  1. Great video! I bought the same complete upper and lower kit about an hour before watching your video. Next is to go to my local gun shop and pick out a stripped lower! Can’t wait to get started on this build! Thumbs up and I always enjoy your videos!

  2. To obtain the purest rifle performance test, use a quality shooters full sled rest on a solid bench. This will eliminate all human influence with your shots and give you only what 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒍𝒆 is truly capable of without interference. The results will give you an unadulterated baseline of what 𝒚𝒐𝒖 are truly capable of; enabling you to compare and work toward the known limit of your rifle. My PSA (that I bought used at Cabelas for $499 with two 30 round mags and quad rail) in 223 Wilde, 18" 1 in 8 twist barrel, stock trigger, Leupold 2-7 VeriX II scope has a 1/2 MOA baseline at 100 meters; firing retail Fiocchi 50 gr. polymer tip boat tails. So question the naysayers who claim that PSA's are crap, they just want to feel that their $1500-$3000 rifle is that much better when indeed it's not.

  3. I only use Red Dots on 12.5" and less uppers. All others I run TR24 1-4× or ACOG. I'm a Trijicon fan boy for sure. Not a fan of batteries on scopes..
The Bushnell AR Optics 1-4×24 with Btr reticle and throw lever is pretty solid . The one I used to have did not have a daylight bright reticle .

  4. I use the cap out of their lowers . I've never tried any of their uppers/UPK or LPK . I know I have almost 7k through my 3 lowers and they are all super solid . No complaints from me for their stripped lowers. They have a deal for $40 for stripped lowers so I just picked up 2 more today . I got one of the Stealth and traditional forged lowers . Not 100% sure but pretty sure Aero Precision makes their uppers and lowers and can't go wrong with them either way

  5. I recently completed my first
AR home build, a PSA classic carbine 16" M4 with the Flat Dark Earth furniture.(sale price)
    $339.99 & $17 for shipping ,
which by the way looks great .everyone loves it, really changes the look .I used a Anderson lower($59.00) purchased at a local gun shop. the only info I had was YouTube videos. everything went together flawlessly, from a box of parts with no assembly instructions whatsoever to complete rifle in less than an hour, not bad for a rookie / novice backyard gunsmlth
who really took his time to make sure everything went together like it should .because of all of the videos I watched I quickly learned that everyone builds them differently but seem to have the same end result. so I had to make my own interpretations and go my own Direction. I bought the armors block & few other tools that was highly stressed and suggestively recommended as a must have & that I absolutely needed. As for the specialty items .hell I didn't even use them, nobody tells you that sort of info. Although they are non-returnable of course, I suppose they do make a great conversation piece and unfortunately a costly learning experience . everyone says you need all these specialty tools, maybe you do but I didn't and my end result turned out perfect . I bought a $2 clevis pin from Lowe's for my takedown detent install a couple small roll pin punchs that's about all you need other than a small Hammer of course but. everyone's always trying to take your money the minimalist approach worked great for me others may be faster but I really took my time I wanted to do a good job and make it look like a professional Smith had completed the project and that is actually how it turned out everyone I have showed it to compliments me on it then ask if I can build them one. I don't know what I've got started here but it was definitely not only an experience but a lot of fun. one fine weapon no complaints here as far as shipping goes mine was setting on my door 3 days after I placed the order. I also had to call customer service to ask them a simple question & they were extremely knowledgeable about their products and impressively professional . no complaints here,
they have my business & not only do I recommend them to others wanting to build their own rifle but I see no need in me ever checking anyone else's website I did lots of research because I am a miser. I was going for low price well I got it
Only with top notch quality and that is something that you do not run into very often .I could probably double my money if I was interested in selling but I do believe this is a keeper, I know PSA get's a lot of bad reviews but from my dealings with them they are great I can't see me ever dealing with anyone else after this build .quality is on par with any of the competitors. everyone that I have shown my completed rifle cannot believe that I built such a fine weapon for only $410 unbelievable the only bad thing they are highly addictive now I have to have one in 6.8 Rem spl. I also added the cmmg Echo LR conversion runs flawlessly by the way but that is entirely another story. Anyway all I'm saying check out PSA give them a try I don't think you'll be disappointed a lot of people post bad reviews very few post the good reviews and as many weapons as they sell if they sold bad weapons they would have been out of business many years ago so think about that before you spend that extra 2 to 3 hundred C-notes on the premium Parts kits. By the way this economy carbine shoots right with my 20" Colt h-bar imagine that !
