You mentioned that some one piece mounts come with different offsets but never explained why. Can you tell us what the purpose of the offset is? I think you said it was the QD mounts.

Great video. Thanks. The only reason I don't use the Arisaka kit is because reticles aren't always perfectly level in the scope, even the big brands admit this.
Short sweet and correct….with more AR calibers reaching out to 1400yds, .224, 6.5 etc.the need for a 20moa mount and measuring that objective bell size / rail clearance becomes more important. When running a 50mm objective A good choice is the Aero Precision handguard that has no top rail.
I hadn't seen the Arisaka Leveling Kit before. I've always used the levels and a TON of patience. Looks like I need an upgrade for the next time I install and optic.
I used to use the bubble levels, but it was a pain in the ass. The Arisaka leveling jig is worth every penny! Great video, proper eye relief is hard to explain to some people, and this shows it very well.
