I do some shooting with the PSA Magpul Edition Nitride Freedom rifle, test the accuracy, discuss the details of the rifle, and go over what I think of it overall.

  1. Fully semi automatic is funny, but that implies that there is such a thing as partially semi automatic. That’s sounds a little scary. Like, it SHOULD only shoot one round at a time. Good luck.

  2. My experience with PSA has been positive but man there are some brand snobs out there that appear to be trolling the internet looking to put down anyone who isn’t running a $2000 and up rifle/optic combo. It is ridiculous. Reminds me of high school.

Remember those snobby kids who collected all the Jordan's, but couldnt run a half court game to 5???
Welp, they're into guns now. 😏

  3. I'd say those are pretty impressive groups for that price range. I've seen as high as 4 MOA considered acceptable accuracy from an AR with factory ammo. I've had good luck with both my PSA's.

  4. I just built one for $300 , bought the upper with the lower parts kit and the stripped lower, and it is a very solid accurate rifle. I put about 350-400 rounds thru it so far and its 100% reliable , I did , however change the adjustable stock to the A2 fixed stock and instead of an optic or red dot I put the carry handle sight on it to give it that "old school " look and feel and I really am impressed with it. I did catch everything on daily special sale.

  5. I love capitalism don't get me wrong, but one of its downfalls is that it has programmed us to think "low price = low quality" and in PSA's case it's the opposite. PSA, as a company, has somehow found out how to produce affordable quality rifle parts. Impressive. Now….who can do this with AK's???? PSA?

  6. I have a carbine sized in OD green on the way. For $450 complete, it’s hard to beat. Just needs a rear site. I’m a husband and father, and we’ve got a ton of home improvements that need to get done, but PSA made it possible for me to spend a little of my ‘spare’ cash on a nice AR-15 and not a POS. Ive always wanted an AR, and now I’ll finally have one!

  7. Just picked mine up today. It's always great to support a local businesses and since I live about an hour away if anything goes wrong I won't have to worry about any shipping

  8. i could buy any rifle i want , but why spend more for not much more rifle . yeah better accuracy to a point but in the big scheme of things if i can hit a pie plate at 300 yards it doesnt matter where on the pie plate i hit . imo. the wife ordered us three of these kits and lowers . just got them together today and im impressed all to hell . one is the nitride 10.5 shockwave and i cant believe the quality to price ratio on these things . all bolts are mpi stamped as well. set it up with an a2 carry handle and its a really nice package . gotta get to the range this weekend . this is the golden age of ARs people. prices will never be lower . and God forbid a lib gets elected to the whitehouse , better get em now . and ammo . lots and LOTS of ammo

  9. I remember a couple of years ago you razzed me over buying a psa? Well not really razzed, you were just concerned about how it would hold up. It still runs perfect, the Aero has been flawless as well. Mini 14 is still the star on range day, everybody lines up when it comes out!
