My favorite AR 15 is my Barrett rec 7 di. 18 inch barrel. I'm a AR pistol Fan. SBRs are just too much trouble.

Awesome build! Love the DD quad rail! Checkout the Ferro Concepts Slingster. I have my qd mounted on my handguard closer to the upper receiver and a Magpul ASAP ambi sling plate. Works well when going from rifle to pistol.
Also recently upgraded my weapon light system to the Cloud Defense LCS mk2 with a Streamlight Protac Rail Mount HL-X. Mounted it to my rail with the Arisaka offset Scout Mount. By far the cleanest setup I've experienced and the Cloud Denfense LCS with integrated cable channels, hides the wire so no snags or zip ties needed. Definitely check them out and keep up the great work!

You went the right route putting a quad rail on your build. Though considered an outdated design by some, it is definitely one that will stand the test of time and get you through whatever comes your way, be it a zombie apocalypse or otherwise.

I built something very similar in 300 blk. I am very happy.
Am I the only one that noticed his Scalarworks mount is backwards. Just sayin 🤷🏻♂️
Why not a 300 blk instead of 556? Isn't 300blk more reliable with shorter barrels?

I built one like that only without the super high dollar parts. best/funnest thing I've found to do with it is use my cmmg 22lr conversion in it. it's lots of fun and at $.03 a round the fun just keeps going. For more serious applications I have one in 300 blk, with an Echo trigger I use as my everything gun. it's twice the everything any 10.5" 5.56 can be.

Very nice build. I have mine DD M4MK18 for over a year with a folding stock so I can carry it concealed everywhere (no extra paperwork necessary here where I'm from). I put few thousands round through it and it looks sick AF with a magpul D60 drum mag 🙂
