Flip the front of the bolt carrier upside down. Look how the rounds are ejecting. The catch on the front of the bolt is extracting the bullet toward the front of the gun instead of the rear.
It's not holding the shell casing to extract it it needs a stronger grip on the rim. Make sure the extractor spring an O-ring are good. Over gas would kick hard not cause that problem
I got the same gun different color & mines work with a 100 round drum even the 40 rd mag works & the 30 works even better I would say let diamondback mess with it 💯👌🏽
I was looking for some videos on Dimond Back pistols before I buy one and this is the first video Iv come across I was looking at the DB 15 – 7.62×39 10/ pst TGR in gray but for $1100.00 if this is how they run I think I’ll look elsewhere for a new pistol. Bummer.
I hope he eventually sent it back, I've seen dozens of videos of this gun showing the high reliability and function, so its not an issue for others that I see. RMA it and wait for a replacement or swap out the darn gas block with an adjustable, you said it over gassed, so act on that lol
I cant believe how many people chase the gas port when its clearly an extractor issue. If it was a gas issue it wouldn't cycle as many times as it had. Get an extractor upgrade kit from BCM, $11 for 3 upgrades, problem solved guaranteed.

All you needed were a sprinco red heavy buffer spring and h3 buffer I promise you…
Check mags too
I know this is silly, but have you tried returning it to the manufacturer so the dozen of
metallurgists, engineers, and gun experts could work on it.
I got a 10.5 inch barrel db15 and I never have any issues.I love mine.

Maybe you just need to buy lower grain bullets.

compensator change and better ammo might help
How did you get the original buffer tube off?
You couldn't recommend a 223 carbine around 500? Also what type gloves you have on? Ty.
Send it back to Diamondback they will replace it for free
What ak pistol do you suggest that works from the manufacturer without all these problems?
believe or not …the magazine is the problem..
A linear Comp is going to increase back pressure. You don't want that lol
It's still way the fuck over gassed. You need an adjusting gas block
What did DB say?

Thx for the video, was going to purchase one. I ll pass
My DB15 performed flawlessly right out of the box
Adjustable gas block will solve the issue…
Did you try different magazines
My DB-15 ran like a dream straight out of the box. My DPMS Oracle has more trouble cycling than my DB-15.
Change your extractor spring to a bcm heavy duty spring and o ring problem solved
Did you try different mags?? Always start with the mags instead of throwing parts at it.
You say over gassed and I say under gassed. You say tomatoes and I say tomatos
Need to decrease gas from gas bloc
ive learned to stay away from any ar that does not have at least a 10 inch barrel
The verdict is bring your gun to a qualified gunsmith
Would you hog hunt with that pistol
I had the same problem same gun, i bought a pmag and better rounds and everything worked, if it doesnt its deff the gas then
So did you get it fixed?
After the 1st 500 round I have had no problems with my DB. Failure to feed was the problem I was having. Hate to see that.
Friends don't let friends buy diamond back ars
Any update on this…. what was the fix?
Sometimes ya got to put super unleaded in a car to make it go…how bout using non cheap ammo?
