  1. Nice video, thanks for posting. Since getting my AR-10 I've been looking at replacement hand guards. This one is recommended by S&W and I was wondering what it would take to make the replacement. I'd like to install the length you show here. I only wished you had shown how the split nut fits over the barrel nut. Also showing what to do with the gas block would have been nice as well.

    I believe the top rail section comes with the kit. I would check to make sure if you decide to order one. But I think you'll be happy with this rail. I really like mine! Hope this helps. Take Care!

  4. I have the Apex Gator grip mid length hand guards on both my 16" AR 308 and my wife's light weight 16" pencil barrel AR 15 and I love them. They are not bulky like many of the early free float hand guards with rails.
