Accuwedges are useless, bordering on dangerous. They are functionally irrelevant and I cant imagine why anyone would think its a good idea, to put a loose chunk of plastic, inside the receiver 🤦
Now you can take it all apart, get rid of all of that crap. Carry handle, grips….and put a flat top on it, flip-up sights plus optics, rails, a better grip, trigger group, and colapsable stock…
So its how to build M16 then?

what is the Red insert inside the lower receiver by the rear take down pin? i have never seen that before. is that to snug up the receivers? what is it called and where can i get it?

i find it easier and less expensive "im a 15 year old gunsmith XD" to use the handles of pliers (rubberized) to move the delta ring!
