Mating an AR-15 upper and lower receiver takes only a few minutes. Watch as Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, installs the bolt carrier assembly in the upper receiver, then attaches the upper receiver to the lower and snaps on the handguards. The last step is a full function and safety check.

  1. No need whatsoever to cock the hammer.

Accuwedges are useless, bordering on dangerous. They are functionally irrelevant and I cant imagine why anyone would think its a good idea, to put a loose chunk of plastic, inside the receiver 🤦

  2. Now you can take it all apart, get rid of all of that crap. Carry handle, grips….and put a flat top on it, flip-up sights plus optics, rails, a better grip, trigger group, and colapsable stock…

  3. what is the Red insert inside the lower receiver by the rear take down pin? i have never seen that before. is that to snug up the receivers? what is it called and where can i get it?

    thank you
