$39 difference? A3, all day, every day. In todays Ar15 world.. Both are kinda dinosaurs anyhow. The A2 has less ability to interchange with what is going on today. That makes the difference way more than $39 in the long run, making the A2 a hassle and more expensive in the long run. It is for someone who has no clue about guns and is just desperate to get their hands on one, not really knowing what they are purchasing, only to find out later they made a bad decision between the two. .

Does the M4A2 come with a carry strap?
These weapon platforms DO NOT have a "carry handle". It IS the rear site assembly. This rifle was never designed with a carry handle. Your own statement explain the difference in rear site assembly does in fact coincide with the variations in the front site post assemblies.
