Installation of the Timney trigger fire control group. This is a very detailed video on this subject. I also go over the build itself and we will be going into great detail in further videos on this build. Very special thanks to Jeff Dodge…General manager of Timney Triggers for allowing us to review and incorporate this trigger into our AR15 build.

  1. Also I don’t understand why people are giving you shit about your light he’ll O light just released a pistol light that puts out 1200 lumens if you build a rifle for home defense don’t you what to see wth your aiming at also a bright weapon like is good to blind people people out

  2. only thing I would think about is this light you have I would push it back a little further ,the further away from that blast the better man the shock wave of the round gonna take a toll on that light it's long enough . but I would go a little less .look at Streamlight I love them over Surefire ..

  3. There is NO better AR trigger than the Timney though I am partial to the flat or perpendicular trigger. Avoid the skeletonized triggers as the only thing they do is empty your wallet even more with no upside. I do like the feel of the straight trigger as it seems to make an already ultra light trigger "feel" even lighter. Also helps prevent one from pulling or pushing the trigger during the pull.

  4. WTF?? You have catastrophic problems with a particular trigger… "Won't fire any mil-spec primer"… and you won't tell people which one, so they can avoid it? Are you kidding? What an A-hole idiot.

  5. Also…though I know little about the ARs and the other custom triggers for them, better than half of my bolt action rifles have customized or shop  worked triggers with a pull of 2.5 or less.  This new timney is every bit as good as any other I've pulled in the bolt rifle actions.

  6. Used your video to install mine.  I liked it, but as a brand new AR owner, with no gun knowledge but of bolt action rifles, I had the following difficulties. I didn't know the plate on the bottom of the grip pulled straight out, was trying to open it like it was hinged…The grip fastening hardware was a hex head, not a screw.   The safety select won't come out if the trigger is in the wrong position.  Obvious to most of the viewers, but a brand new experience here.  Thanks for your instructions.

  7. it looks like the trigger has a small amount of pull . how much pull dose it have at detente .. i would like to find one with same pull um slack to detente as my 500 S&W
