  1. Check out Tract optics out of Harrisburg,PA . I can only comment on there top of the line scope which is around $1050 but the glass and mechanics are superior to other scopes I have in that price range and above.

  2. I heard you mention UTG, let me tell you I have the 4×16×44 Mill dotilluminated radical and at 300 yards I ring my target, and I am fucking blind, my review of the scope is that it is a bad ass Scope 👍👍👍👍

  3. Whatever dude I have three UTG scopes and they work perfect. They track perfect, they are durable as hell, and have pretty decent glass in them. That being said I also have high dollar scopes as well. LMFAO you call UTG crap yet you claim to like truley crappier scopes from crappier companies. I guess it's true what they say about opinions. LOL

  4. Will be interested to see what Simmons and Tasco come out with. Will be awaiting that video. Have a 25+ old tasco 4×16 with a front parallax that has done me well and would have no problems buying another one if their quality is still the same.

  5. Damnit man you got me turned on with the Sig Saur 4-12 with the illuminated reticle, but I can’t find the damn thing anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction? Awesome video man!

  6. Good job on the video. Would have liked to seen the reticles in all of those scopes you reviewed alongside specific features that make these you choices. You know, something like: “the substentions in the MLR ffp reticle are spaced correctly but the glass etched reticle might be to fine people with eye issues.”

  7. You may have heard of another turd of a scope that a person should stay away from; Leatherwood. No, these scopes are not the Leatherwood Carlos or Mawhinny used to put down VC in Nam. They only stole the name. The glass(if you can call it that) is junk. Turn it up to high power and you’d swear a fog bank came between you and your target. I hate to bash anything without mentioning something good so heres the good: …… can’t think of anything on the Leatherwood. Think CDT fooled alot of people with the name. (Disclosure: evaluation was a one time range trip when sighting in a friends rife that had a Leatherwood 4-16×44 atop it). Maybe others have had good experiences with the Leatherwood. I got the friend into a Sightron, he’s very happy with it.

  8. The Sightmark Core TX scopes are damn good for the money. Lifetime, no-nonsense warranty and under $300. Their Pinnacle line is more pricey but can handle .338 Lapua and .50BMG without giving up the ghost.

  9. Hmmm, wish i had seen this video before i bought that BSA scope a couple years ago. It's a TMD 4-14×44 mil-mil FFP. Have to say tho that i haven't noticed any problem with it so far, at least not as far as holding zero. But then i don't shoot a great deal either. It's on my deer hunting rifle. I do have to say tho that there have been times at the range when i felt disappointed in my groups at 100 yds. and not sure whether it was due to factory ammo, me, or the scope, so i can't 100% say it perfectly holds zero. I haven't put the turret tracking thru it's paces but i really should (and will) do that. Run a box test and see what it can do. In any case, i only paid $139 for it (was a sale) and if i have to i can put it on my air rifle where i'm usually only doing pest control or small game hunting at 60 yds. or less. Great review and video sir, lots of excellent info.

  10. I bought the Hawke for deer hunting. Absolutely love it. Holds zero and don’t need a spotting scope at 100 meters to see bullet holes sighting in. 2 X is perfect for quick jump or running shots.

  11. Thx for your vid and efforts! Like the background you start with. Where – just about – is that?
I was in the need of a new scope, but in stead of buying a new I found a used Schmidt & Bender. The clarity is only surpassed by Zeiss and Swarovski's higher end scopes.
Hunting and moving family in the dark from A->B gives you 45min more at dusk/dawn.
Buy the best and cry once (or buy used and giggle here on after)
