At CNN’s Town Hall following the Parkland shooting, Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) says that he is an avid hunter and that AR-15 assault style rifles are not for hunting, they are for killing.

  1. Yeah and I was stabbed by a drug addict, should I ban the knives? No. You would say that knives are tools and it’s the criminals fault. But it’s the same thing with guns. Just cause you where shot, it doesn’t mean anything.

  8. He´s talking like an "assault rifle" is automatically making killers out of people. Man, take a look at Switzerland. Once you finished your mandatory military service, you´ll get an actual assault rifle, not just a semi-auto AR. They don´t have mass shooting there.
    I also own an AR-15 and we don´t have mass shootings over here in Austria either.
    In Germany hunters and sports shooters can also have AR-15s. They also don´t have mass shootings.
    The US got way more serious problems than the AR-15.

  9. Anders Breivik proved an AR-15 or any assault style rifle that has killed over 560 people in the last 19 years is the only gun that can kill. He used a Mini 14 which is designed for hunting, killed 69 which means we could have 8 Breiviks go on a rampage with a hunting rifle and kill over 560. I could say this is discrimination against a AR-15.

Hmmm using a victim from a tragedy to persuade the children and parents of our country to give up firearms hmmmm sound familiar anyone know where that sounds familiar maybe germany in the 30s or many other communist country involved in genocide of thier own people after disarming the nation hmmmm sounds too familiar and seems to be a plot leta be honest Washington redflag law there was alot of death after that was passed oh and now virginia I believe and ya they are trying to confiscate firearms and innocent people are turned into criminals over night if they dont bow to master well damn aint that a bitch

  12. AR-15 is not about hunting. And the second amendment is not about hunting. It is about defending the common citizen against a government that becomes oppressive and tyrannical. That is why the leftists want to take them away.

  14. Well how do you hunt?
    Hunting is killing an animal for food, but you probably will just take a picture and leave the carcass. KILL!!! KILL!!! THATS WHAT HUNTING IS!
    And for most people hunting is a hobby since we are civilised and have meat in stores. Which means you kill something to just pass time!

  19. Real problem with most AR's is the 5.56.

    It's not a heavy enough round to fly straight through brush and bushes. In a way, most ARs are simply not good enough at killing to be used for hunting

  20. This blows my mind. The gun does not do the killing. the gun is simply a tool. The person does the killing. The gun does not pull the trigger on its own. It needs a person or an object to pull the trigger. The people on the left and most liberals just make themselves sound stupid. A criminal is someone who doesn't follow the law. THEY BREAK THE LAW. What the hell makes you think that putting guns LAWS in place is going to help at all? Wow. These types of videos crack me up.
