I bought the 5.7 banshee SBR, still waiting on it. I feel it shoots better than the pistol set up.

I know people shit on the 5.7 caliber but I think it’s one of the best PDW cartridges out there. In theory stopping power isn’t a concern for who it was designed for like the MP7, PS90 since they are full auto. It’s like throwing a hornets nest at your target.

But how much is it?

Cost $199 most places. SB3 $119. For $80 you can extend the brace without squeezing. Saves a fraction of a second and most useful exiting a vehicle. If you want one, buy it but it’s a tacticool add on that will be of very little use to most.

So disappointed with cmmg, design is a like they couldn't figure out how to utilize mil spec. The little novel hand guard is not practical. In fact a safety hazard. Can't get a good purchase on it. And the nub of a hand stop is sharp and brutal one the supporting hand. Also the barrel nut / hand guard adapter is knurled, slotted for a like a castle nut. While h is impossible to remove. Also the hand gaurd is bonded with adhesive. Piss pour designed. Very difficult to change to a better hand guard. After spending 1600 bucks on it, and trying to get it reliant for a PDW it's a major agrevavation.

Or just buy thr original one for less and take a dremmel to the pin, put an angle into it and it'll do the same.

I know this is about the brace but the two point sling caught my eye. That’s actually a cool idea. It’s like a shoulder holster for a sub machine gun – I mean a ‘pistol’

Is there a Fed approval for that pistol brace? Sticking with SBT for that reason.

Will that work with the jp silent spring. The tube seems kind of short. I have the small frame jp spring.
