The paralax is corrected over higher distances so you cannot try it over a room. At few meters the miniscule difference is in practical life irrelevant anyways.
The model 512.A65 is as you see it in the video.
I thought the 512 only came with the dot reticle?
I finally got an EoTech (512) and it's definitely worth the buy. I cringed when my sling failed on me & and my rifle hit the deck; all the weight hitting the sight. But behold! The protective hood did its job & the sight itself unscathed. Some touch up paint on the hood & the scratches aren't too noticeable. Worth the investment to anyone who's on the fence about buying one.
Yes you are correct. When shooting at a greater distance the discrepancy diminishes. Thanks!
This is a really good demo! You'll notice the dot does slightly shift and that is due to such a close range. Even the Aimpoints and EOtechs aren't truly "parallax free" until about 50+ meters. This is my understanding anyway. Happy shooting!
Yes they are expensive. I also have to invest time breaking the receiver down to drill the holes for the side mount. Time is money and vice versa. I have high hopes. Thanks for watching.
