With side button functionality you can reduce rail space when partnering the 518 with an EOTech magnifier. The 518 is also compatible with the new drop-in Laser Battery Caps that EOTech designed to enhance aiming through the use of visible and IR lasers.

He said the Eotech 518 is night vision compatible when it's not….. The Eotech 558 is the one that is night vision compatible.
Forgot to mention that the 518 is laser battery cap compatible.
So they make the XPS sights to due away with the flawed battery arrangement of the old eotech, and now they bring the flawed battery arrangement back… What are they smoking over at eotech?
