Well, I'm just glad I could finally find a legitimate video on a holographic site, and not a stupid call of duty one.

i bought an eotech over an aimpoint mainly cause the eotech looks cooler, both are great sights though.

@zboyco Truth, the laser takes a great deal more energy, though 600 hours is nothing to scoff at if you've got a regular change out schedule. People, including myself take the shorter battery life for the fact that it does in fact project the reticule, giving the illusion that the reticule is floating on the target more than in the "tube" like an aimpoint, it seems to work with my eyes better than the dot of the aimpoints

@RobbieGTV it might have to do with the technology they use. since the eotech uses a class II laser to emit a holographic image and doesnt the aimpoint use some sort of LED to emit the red dot?? im thinking the eotech needs a lot more power in its type of technology compared to aimpoint.
