You don't need a knife to take the retaining pin off. Only to compensate for something is when you need it.
Going 20 or 30,000rds without cleaning your extractor. Especially on an AR of all things……lol boy, you made that up 😅!

Thanks for the video. I’ve had a BCM AR for several years and shot thousands of rounds but never bothered to take apart the bcg to clean it. I was worried a ton of springs would come out but it was easy, thanks to this video but boy oh boy, was it filthy.
Now I know how to take apart a bolt carrier.

I had my rings align. was like having a 30 round bolt action. found a single ring made like a key chain. alot more compression, works great

How do you if the firing pin retainer pin is in all the way? And isn't twisting it going to ruin the pin, I'm new to ar15 and just wondering?
