Another great review. Glad to see someone showcasing BCA more. They’ve had some hard times with reviews of “bad batches” …with people who knew a guy who had a BCA Barrel that couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn this one time no matter what they fed it from point blank… and and blah blah blah… they fixed the issue with the most expensive brand name stuff that everyone else running though. That’s what they did. Not that one guy they heard of. Lol.
Anyhow. Great review. Good looking setup. It’d be cool to see you utilize an ambi lower from Cross Machine Tool for a Precision Rifle with the .224 Valkyrie round. Also… have you had a chance to check out any bolt on left side chargers? Like DDC HARD CHARGER? Non reciprocating. Well, take care.

Sounds and looks impressive. Even with the heavy barrel I doubt it weighs as much as my old FN FAL. My guess is it would weigh about the same as an SKS with both unloaded. I want one!

I bought an upper from BCA about 2 years ago and the damn thing was messed up and would not fire more than 1 round. I reached out to them for help, ZERO response. Turns out the damn fools can't put on a Gas block correctly and oh, thanks for ZERO help and response BCA…you damn hacks you!

Great review. I purchased that exact side-charging upper from Bear Creek Arsenal, and, like you, I have been shooting their uppers and a few of their barrels for about 3 years now. Their barrels are accurate and run awesome! If you haven't had a chance to shoot this upper suppressed yet, do it! I really want to get another side-charging upper and put it on my AR pistol in 300 Blackout with an 8.5" Ballistics Advantage barrel (modern series).

It's pretty well known that .223 is usually more accurate than a similar quality 5.56.

You should try black hills .223 77's and 69's.. they shoot amazing in nearly all my rifles.. In my experience the 5.56 loading does put a bit more inconsistency in them..

Any chance they have a similar complete upper in 6.5 Grendel for that price? Also, I think I would prefer a left handed side charger over this one, but I have not used either to know the difference.
