@jrdrg911 I would think twice before buying a dpms, since the freedom group bought them out there quality control has gone down. There are instances of rifles going out without any rifling in the barrel. Same with Remington, you really gotta watch out. Qualitys gone down alot, ask any real gun guy about it
i loved my bushmaster but it got stollen a year ago along with my .308 and my Glock but when my taxes come back im goin and buying a DPMS AR-15 witch are made inthe same warehouse as bushmaster so theres hardly any difference
I own an AR15 in Texas, but was under the impression that sound suppressors were illegal. Is there something that makes a supressor not a "silencer?" I understand a flash suppressor is just fine.
@dmcgrathudt I have seen this problem a few times with customers coming to my shop .
I have fixed this kind of problem by drilling the cass port holes in the barrel and gas block with a 101 size drill bit for more gas flow into the bolt carrier for more reliable funtioning with lower pressures.
I feel its not the suppressor is the problem its the gas ports are to small to let more gas pressure flow into the bolt carrier.
@dmcgrathudt The can increases back pressure. The carrier is probably out running the magazine's ability to feed the next cartridge. The same problem occurs on high round count M16s where the gas port has eroded and enlarged and is overgassing the carrier.
@graysonator123 Mine is a 5.56 with burst that i *cough modified cough* to shoot auto but when you add the can it doent have the backpressure after a few rounds to completely cycle. Even shooting the m855 or the heavier m193 ammo causes the problem.. I know the M4 isnt designed to use a can so i was curious to know if yours had issues with cycling due to backpressure issues or I need to look at a longer barrel when using the can.
Does it ever jam on you with rapid fire? I shoot auto and it jams about every 6-8 rounds when it doesnt eject the casing.. Military ammo and it still doesnt do well but i have a 13.5" barrel also..
i like how you dont have any other atachements it looks like mine except mine is about 3 years old and never been shot i just got from grandpa who colects gun but he jus passed away

They reduce noise, muzzle flash, and recoil/muzzle climb.
yes
That is basically why the military chose it at first, low recoil and high accuracy..
Damn thats fuck up bro, got stole? some one break in your house?
@comquatable yes
If your rifle is threaded for a suppressor can you still fire the rifle without it?
What is it about suppressors? They make any gun look 20x more awesome…
what suppressor?
hehe i am the bushmaster.

That gun was the one in 0:09 seconds?
I love how the camera shakes every time the 50 BMG in the background goes off…

What suppressor is this being used. I'm about to purchase a Gemtech for my AR and been trying to decide what to go with.
Its the unlimited magazine!
I've been looking into suppressing my AR (neighbor doesn't like the noise.) What suppressor is this and what ammo are you using…subsonic?

Is that a Gem-Tec sound suppressor?
@TheLegit10th cool. link me to it
i like how you dont have any other atachements it looks like mine except mine is about 3 years old and never been shot i just got from grandpa who colects gun but he jus passed away
@eradimatrix i would just for extra protection.
@eradimatrix i would
do you still need to wear hearing protection if you shoot with the silencer? that is if you're alone without any other loud guns around
What brand the suppressor?
Man thats a small can but it does a great job! Are you using sub sonic rounds????
thanx!
@nromando no, just the civ version of M-16. they didnt dummy down anything
@nromando yes they are almost identical. many manufacturers of AR-15 guns are up to mil-spec standards
