  1. I'm very interested on what he does with this upper and lower. I have the exact same upper and lower and I plan on building it out to the best AR that I own. I'm planning on staring with a ballistic advantage barrel and a 15' atlas s-one handgaurd.

  2. The Corps issued me an M16A1, and I carried more than one of these throughout my time in the Corps, and I could not qualify anything below expert with it. So, the MOAR for me is the Colt AR15A4, for just over $1000.00. The damn thing just shoots out of the box. No special furniture, no upgraded bolt, no fancy triggers, no optics, you just zero the sights, and away you go. If you can't shoot with that, then you better hope in a SHTF situation, that any other AR that you pick up off the dead or wounded when yours is damaged, or jammed or whatever, has all the bells and whistles so you can still shoot.

  3. I’m a sucker for these videos because I’m always looking for the next excuse to build another rifle. Just got rid of my 18’ 223 wyld traded it for a 243 bolt action ima slap in a Boyd’s pro Varmint stock. But I don’t exactly have a do it all gun just a gun for each occasion. Got my 16’ ruger factory upper magpul furniture magpul vg on a matrix arms lower Surefire scout light vg6 gama brake and 2.5x acss prism kinda as my battle rifle I guess. Then I have a 14.7’ ballistic advantage lightweight side charger 5.56 troy carbon fiber rail Daniel defense stock leupold 1-5.5x sitting in an areo precision mount vg6 epsilon brake and a rock river 2 stage match trigger as my competition gun. 11.5’ 300 blk with a 10’ keymod slim handguard sb brace 3 chamber competition brake primary arms 1x acss prism with kak 0-600 flip up sights enforce light with the same rock river trigger for hunting/home defense. Then I have my 16’ 6.5 Grendel 15’ radical firearms rail magpul ubr stock bushnell ar223 drop zone 3-12×40 scope utg keymod bipod also with the rock river 2 stage trigger and all guns have a magpul ms4 sling. But I’d like to do something like your talking about and build a do it all 223 I have a 1-8x primary arms scope I kept when I traded my 18’ gun but I think ima put that on my 14.5’ gun and use the 1-5.5 leupold for the do all. Probably go with a faxon 16’ lightweight barrel not too sure on the stock but I like the magpul slk they are cheap but small nice cheek well and get the job done. I to will be using the areo precision receiver set but probably go with the no forward assist upper. Not 100% sure which way I’m going probably just watch your build and may steal some ideas off you.

  4. Damn dude, why no AC in your shop? Also I have built the ultimate AR15 it's my Gen 7 and I don't know how it could be more perfect. 10.5 in barrel just over 5 lbs with optics, all precision parts and I did it under $1000.00 as a result of black Friday sales last year.

  5. I am working on my MoAR right now. Actually got my lower put together already, aero lower. Wanted the m4e1 but didn't get it.
Went with a Magpul UBR stock, geissele tricon trigger, seekin ambi safety and magpul k2 grip. Already got my optic, trijicon 4x acss, yes it was expensive but the ruggedness and no battery was huge. Thinking about geissele urgi as well.

  6. I get the idea for just kicks and giggles of piece parting a monstrosity rifle, as probably at least 10,000 other guys/gals have done the same thing on video. However, that rifle will be worth maybe 60% of what you have in it after you are done. A smarter move would be to take that $1000 and put it down on something that is already a proven reliable system, with numerous choices with top manufacturers out there there. My preferred choice would be the LWRC DI , which is not too much more than your budget limit for the Frankenstein rifle.

  7. What about a collaboration with PSA, their pricing is outstanding for the quality you get? They do sell some made by FN Barrels and I've personally never ran into an issue with this Veteran owned company. Their mission statement is also outstanding in they want every American who wants one to able to afford and own an AR. Maybe throw together another build with them, sorry hadn't watched the full Vid before I commented. It should be possible to build an awesome and dependable AR for under $600 easily with PSA…

  8. Check into one of the .223 Wylde Ballistic Advantage Hanson profile barrels …my most accurate and favorite build has an 18" mid length (one in eight twist) installed on an AERO Enhanced upper…makes for a solid almost one piece upper with the only "downside" being that you are pretty much limited to using an AERO hand guard (not a bad choice IMHO…the continuous rail is flawless without the transition gap found on others).

  9. Kotaboy, you better get to Washington and help get Judge Kavanaugh confirmed buddy! Those Senators might listen to a badass like yourself and vote for him, so our 2nd amendment will be protected!🇺🇸👍

  10. Nice rail… about time they took the rail off the middle of the forend. Who uses it? And if you need it, m-lok a tiny rail to the top. I like it… low profile case deflector and some good offset back up folders. Brownells has a light weight monolithic ( not monolithic ) upper and m-lok rail setup for like $170 from FM. But that one for $50 is a better deal.

  11. After 30 years I have a pretty extensive knowledge of handguns of all types, but to be honest with you I have absolutely no knowledge about AR-15. sometimes when you start talkin I get absolutely lost because it sounds like Greek To Me LOL. But you're slowly helping me learn about AR-15, I don't know if I will ever be able to afford one considering the price that they are, but at least I'm learning keep up the good videos. MOARRR.!!!!!
