The Stag 8L has carbine handguards. However I do not know if the Magpul MOE Handguards would fit on the Stag since it is a piston gun. Stag may be different but I know that a lot of the piston guns in the beginning were not compatible with regular handguards. Most of the time people had to modify them to get them on the piston guns. @guitargamer57 You can put a set of 1913 polymer picatinny rails directly into the 2, 6, and 8 slots. Or Magpul also makes a MOE Vertical Grip that goes directly into the 6 slots without a rail.
Excellent product from Magpul.

I got the MOE and a few rails, but it actually wouldn't fit with my barrel and the side rails. Is it because I have a heavy barrel?
Might get this for my S&W M&P 15-22, hmm 🙂
I just bought Magpul's XTM panels for some comfort holding my rifle as I don't add anything to my rails but I think I'll get this later to change the looks up a bit.

This video was an installation video. I covered the rails in my "Magpul MOE Hand Guard Review" video. I would also disagree about the rails being the only reason to buy the Magpul MOE HG. They are a much better fit and much more comfortable than the CAR HG. That is the reason most people like myself replace the CAR HG for the MOE HG. You also can get the rails for the CAR HG as well, but you are limited with only top or bottom mounting.

i have a sr22 ruger i installed a free float tube i want to install plastic handguards how do i do it my quad rail just clamped onto the reciever thread i guess on a ar its the delta ring someone please help me my rifle weights 10 pounds

Glad you figured it out. These are a little more trouble to mount than standard handguards, but are much nicer. They fit with little to no play on my experiance, which is great.

Yep I would agree with you. I need to get some different color fabric from Walmart to make backgrounds. That way I can select colors based on need. Thanks
