  1. Iv'e been looking into the best components for an AR build, JP enterprises low mass bolt carrier and buffer system is so expensive, it does drop a lot of weight and supposed to make your gun run faster. I think I will still stick to a traditional bolt carrier and operating system, I have seen someone's race gun basically explode using the low mass operating system, the gas adjustment was probably bad, I would take an extra 6 ounces and be satisfied with proven reliability of the traditional AR operating system.

  2. That carbon fiber barrel ( specifically the cf ) will not last if that barrel gets past 500f degrees. thats the limit of the plastic resin. If they used a very high temp resin in the cf. You could literally burn all the resin off and out of thecarbon fiber.

  3. 2 part question…How would you compare this barrel to a bcm 410ss? secondly I'm looking into an 18" spr. I want the bcm mk12 upper but don't wanna burn my pocket. thinking of a bcm 18" 410ss with kmr…your thoughts please?

  4. Cood barrel. yes, $$$$! Why didnt you use a carbon fiber hand guard from AP customs? They are uber strong and ultra light with tons of room inside. I think the ID is almost 1.9".
You would have saved close to pound by doing that.
Maybe some day I'll hit the lottery and be able to afford a single PART from Christensen Arms.
