Wow another flat out lie. The AR-15 was not BANNED from 1994-2004. Magazine,capacity and small features on the gun where banned. Meaning it could have a bayonet lug or a flash supressor. Companies NEVER stopped building and they have NEVER stopped selling them.

Many items are "legal and lethal". FAR more students die while texting and driving or drinking and driving every year, but who is calling for common sense car control? Should we go down the road of the UK and sequentially ban everything? First guns, then knives, and now they have criminals throwing acid in their victims' faces. And of course, people are still being shot and stabbed in the UK because criminals ignore these bans that only disarm law abiding citizens to favor criminals. Gosh, why not just ban violent crime?
