I'm going to try this with my CZ70. If I get good results, then I'll do the slide on my SD9VE.
The more metallic components the Aluminum alloy has the stronger the finish. Works good on Anodized Aluminum or harder alloys like T16. (Tested on an AK type Side mount for a Saiga Shotgun).
It works better on Steel instead of Aluminum. (Tested on an AK Buttplate of an AK type Buttstock). Its durable as durable a Ceramic gun finish can be. Only Cerakote exceeds quality of Wheeler Cerama Coat.

I restore Defense tools for a living..I have tried this stuff several times and can say with all honesty from my heart…..This crap does not work. It will sratch off with VERY little pressure. It will scratch laying it on the floor. You want ( coating? ) This is NOT what you want..Pure Junk!!!!!
Help…I`d love more info having problems locating…..Questions….Questions….Can I just prep and and clean with acetone?….I see a ton of videos sand blasting or bead blasting….You just clean with acetone and spray…My project is a Taurus from 2005…
