Video Fast Forward Times At The Bottom of This Description. This is a complete do it yourself (DIY) step by step guide to building an AR15 from scratch. I was exhausted when I did this video (my proof is that I call the magazine release a bolt catch for that entire segment…lol) But this is a start to finish guide to assemble an AR15 if you bought it part bu part or in a kit.

when I build my first rifle I'm gonna build a teepee with a sheet and build in there that way I won't lose any parts lol
As a new person to the industry and actually on my way to purchase my first AR I've been watching a lot of videos. I wish that when you were discussing the middle parts being decent quality and it appears you're getting ready to give a price or the type but then you strayed off into the barrel being the most important part. Great information on the build but stay on point for people like me who would have loved to have heard what your middle parts were what the cost was where to purchase your Barrel what the cost was has you gave us the Anderson upper lower cost.
What is the difference between a "keyed" upper and one that isn't? Going to do my first build. Not familiar with that term. Thanks.
Anyone notice he was calling the mag release button the bolt stop
How'd it shoot ? Any failures ?
good info nice video
hi what is the other newer better lower vise block you were talking about ??
thanks for the upload you got yourself another subscriber great video
hey you have any uppers or lowers left ??
good info
everyone says the pivot pin is so challenging, I was really nervous when I got to it on my first build a few days ago.. but I was able to just push the detent in on the side of the pin and push it in.. very simple, no trouble at all..
Barrel , trigger , free float forehand . That's where the $ should go . A lower is a lower is a lower .
hey if there is an Oscar my name is David and we were talking in bass pro shop in San Jose reply back please
How much of an advantage is there to D I Y..
LMAO – "portable vice is too portable" – something I would do.
I didn't know there was a place named after me in Oklahoma.
I'm with you brother. All my builds are on Anderson lowers and uppers. I just don't see the point of spending the extra money for a bigger name brand when they are usually forged at the same factory.
Great video but I believe you can build an AR in all states there's no restrictions, i live in Cali and theres no restrictions with building just need the gay bullet button, great video.
Where do I find uppers that have already been head spaced properly?
Hey Mac, just curious if you are still making your holsters? I was looking at some older videos, and was interested in buying one.
Nice Rifle, very informative video, still gonna bust your balls Mac, ya know they're going to bust your chops for not putting in the buffer spring etc… Have a good one.
Thank you for this video. I will be using it as I start my build. I saw you mentioned to spend money on a good barrel and the rest doesn't have to break the bank. What about the bolt carrier group? Is it worth the extra money to get nickel boron or is a standard inexpensive bolt carrier group good enough? Rifle looks great. Out of curiosity, roughly how much do you have into this build if you paid retail for everything?
