I have the Strion too. Great little light. Plenty bright, but for distances beyond maybe 75 yards it's not very good. You can see some illumination at 100 yards from it but it's pretty dull light. For greater distances consider either the Streamlight Protac HL at 600 lumens or their rechargeable full size SL-2l at 350 lumens which can throw a bright beam more than 200 yards. I put the Strion in my P71 interceptor on the charger so it's always handy. Great flashlight and nice and bright hotspot.
After starring at the beam and the LED…
I realized the LED isn't centered properly…
Anyone else have this problem?

4Sevens Quark X AA2
