Tip: if you’re wearing the rifle over the front of your chest with a sling, have the vortex flip the opposite direction as shown here (to the right), especially if you’re wearing a plate carrier. That way the rifle will rest flatter on your chest and the magnifier won’t snag and get in the way, especially if you have mag carriers on the front.

What is the eye relief??? I'm seeing 3.25" in some places but also seeing 2.2" So what exactly is the eye relief? I do have the EO-Tech 512 w/flip-up iron sites, so is your nose touching the charging handle to get a good view….anybody? Thanks

Flipping that magnifier on the left side makes it impossible to use the EOTech with both eyes open as you should. I read many flip the Vortex around on the right side.
I have a vortex sight and I am wanting to add a magnifier. I am hoping this would help with sighting in a shot down range while wearing my prescribed eye wear. I rather not buy a pair of glasses just for shooting, so I'm hoping this will elevate this need. Can you say whether you or have you head of anyone having good results with what I am looking to accomplish?

I have bought Vortex magnifier and waiting for the shipment to arrive. There are so many videos reviewing VMX-3T. However I could not find any video which presents how you see while looking through it, until watching this. I really appreciate that you show the difference with 1x and 3x. Obviously, we need to see that because we know that magnifier makes the picture bigger that you are looking at. 3x closer. however, at the same time, it makes your cross-hair/rectangle bigger as well so this something that we are not familiar with. Thank you so much as you provide with this.
