I have been running this flashlight in my system for about 10 months now and I think I have finally built up an honest opinion on it. The Streamlight TLR1-S is a phenomenal flashlight for both your rifle and pistol and is well worth the money at about $130. The TLR1-S is very bright, has a very nice beam with an honest amount of flood light. The video doesn’t do the flashlight justice, But it does give a fair demo of it. I would not recommend this flashlight for your pistol use, but it is great for rifles. For pistols i would recommend the TLR1, the Strobe feature is nice, but is not necessary. The light works and is worth the money either way and you will not be disappointed with it. Streamlight Flashlights are a great value and are on par with surefire flashlights. The durability is great and will withstand any and all abuse you put it through. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for watching the Guns and Accessories Channel!

  1. got any extra of those GAP finger extensions? they're so nice and I've been trying to track them down but the company just like disappeared and I can't find them anywhere!

The point of a strobe light is not to confuse someone downrange by shining the light directly at them while shooting. This is a common misconception. A strobe light is used for looking/clearing room to room. The flashing light makes it much harder for someone hiding or waiting to quickly pinpoint where the light is being emitted from. Using the "constant on" setting of the light to clear rooms would give your position away much more easily than using the strobe. This is why it's important to train using the strobe in this way, so that YOU don't find it disorienting to clear rooms like you're in a disco club. It can be difficult!

  3. FUCKIN A'! That's Why My Glock has a flashlight/laser combo, a set of crimson trace laser grips, a trijicon RMR, raised suppressor sights, threaded barrel(for my fake suppressor), a bayonet, AND a 30rd clipazine!

  4. well, my duty weapon was a G22(which I still own) but, due to my new line of work and the fact that when you include having the light mounted it helps with recoil and lets face it after the first shot. Night vision and concealability are pretty much thrown out of the window. That and I've always liked how the Compensated Glocks look. I mean lets be real its all about looking cool right? HAHAHA!

  5. I use the TLR-1s with the grip switch on my 23C for work. I regret not going with the HL but, this one is still 300 lumens and trust me that strobe effect definitely works when your sneaking up on a group of armed gang bangers. All they see is flashing light and someone yelling at them to drop there guns or get shot.
