Dude you have the cheaper one the XPS2 not the EXPS2, the XPS2 have the buttons in front.

One more thing, it is sometimes suggested to mount a red dot out as far as you can. That's pretty far in my rifle.
1.05" at 100 yards, lol. I shoot long range so I learned that when using MOA scopes for ranging. I need to review so much stuff, I'm so happy!
I have the 516, which is two 123 batteries, but shorter than the 512. I also purchased a sightmark magnifier which I will review with the Eotech on my Ruger AR soon. That short model is sexy though, and the price you got it for was great! You will enjoy it and it will not let you down. The shutdown is 4 hours if you use the down arrow to turn it on also.
Interesting. I can understand a scope but half the sights that are on the market I don't know enough to buy. Thanks for the education
