It runs on a single CR123A battery which provides up to 600 hours of continuous runtime at setting 12. The EXPS leaves tons of rail space available for mounting flip-up iron sights or a magnifier and the integral mount allows for use on either a Weaver or Picatinny-style rail. The EOTech EXPS2 is not compatible with night vision devices.

  1. Great video, I have the 512 on a Rock River I put together for coyotes. My kids shoot it more than I do. I was looking to add another for a sbr. Giving the EXPS2 a hard look.

  2. now the ammunition problem, 3 xtra distance dots are supposed to match up with a short m4 barrel with M855 ammunition. What ammo will have the same drop rate at those distances with a 16" barrel 1:7 I can't use m855 at my ranges

  3. so it's higher than the old ones, it will be lower 1/3rd Cowitness that won't be in the way, I was worried about absolute cowitness blocking by dots

  4. Have you thought about mounting your magnifier to swing to the right as opposed to the left so as not cut off your field of view of your left eye? Just think it would help with your situational awareness. Great Review!
